Lesson, Cancellation & Refund Policy

These terms apply to lessons booked and paid for directly with Canto Academy. Lessons booked through Preply, italki or other platforms follow the relevant platform’s policies.
Lessons & Payment
Standard lessons are 50 minutes.
Current prices are shown on the Canto Academy website or provided before payment. Unless otherwise stated, prices are in USD.
Lesson packages are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.
Cancellation & Rescheduling
- 12 hours or more notice: free cancellation or rescheduling.
- Less than 12 hours’ notice: 50% of the lesson fee will be charged, or 0.5 lesson deducted from a package.
- No-show: 100% of the lesson fee will be charged, or 1 full lesson deducted.
A student may be treated as a no-show if they have not joined the lesson within 10 minutes of the scheduled start time and have not contacted Canto Academy.
If a student arrives late, the lesson will still finish at the originally scheduled time.
Reasonable exceptions may be made in exceptional circumstances.
Package Refunds
Students may request a refund of unused lessons within the 12-month validity period.
If part of a package has already been used, completed lessons will be recalculated at the standard single-lesson rate that applied when the package was purchased. The remaining balance will then be refunded.
After the 12-month validity period, any unused lessons will expire and are non-refundable, unless otherwise agreed by Canto Academy or required by law.
If Canto Academy Cancels
If Canto Academy cancels a lesson, the student will not lose the lesson and will be offered a reschedule, lesson credit or applicable refund.
Consumer Rights
Nothing in this policy excludes or limits any rights available under the Australian Consumer Law.

本政策適用於直接向 Canto Academy 預約及付款的課堂。透過 Preply、italki 或其他平台預約的課堂，則按照相關平台的政策處理。
課堂及付款
標準課堂為 50分鐘。
最新價格會列於 Canto Academy 網站，或於付款前向學生說明。除非另有註明，價格以 美元（USD） 計算。
所有課堂套票由購買日起計 12個月內有效。
取消及改期
- 至少12小時前通知： 免費取消或改期
- 不足12小時通知： 收取50%課堂費用，或扣0.5堂
- 缺席（No-show）： 收取100%課堂費用，或扣完整1堂
如學生於課堂開始後 10分鐘仍未出現，而且沒有聯絡 Canto Academy，可視為缺席。
如學生遲到，課堂仍會按照原定時間結束。
如遇特殊情況，Canto Academy 可酌情作出合理安排。
套票退款
學生可於 12個月有效期內 申請退回未使用課堂的餘額。
如已使用部分套票，已完成的課堂會按 購買套票當時適用的標準單堂價格 重新計算，再退回餘額。
12個月有效期屆滿後，任何未使用課堂將會 失效及不設退款，除非 Canto Academy 另行同意或法律另有規定。
如 Canto Academy 取消課堂
學生不會損失該堂，可獲安排改期、課堂額度或適用的退款。
消費者權利
本政策不會排除或限制學生根據 Australian Consumer Law（澳洲消費者法） 所享有的權利。
